Vertélibre®

Designation: Velpeau^® Vertelibre^® 1Comfort is a back orthosis for stabilizing the lumbar region. Four rigid ribs ensure the stability and rigidity of the orthosis, two additional elastic compression straps which must be attached to the front of the orthosis by the hook-and-loop fastener complete the stabilization and ensure a flexible adjustment of the orthosis. Elastic straps pivot 180 degrees when needed.

Indications: Non-specific pain syndrome, acute or chronic, affecting the lumbar spine, caused by inappropriate stress, overload of the muscles and ligaments in the lumbar spine region and of the sacrum. Specific pain syndrome, acute or chronic, affecting the lumbar region in cases of:

• osteochondrosis of the lumbar region,
• spondyloarthritis of the lumbar region.
